3:
Why is the item that I would like to select from the menu unavailable or grayed out?
|
| Answer:
EndNote is task specific. For example, if you have your cursor in an output style window, you will not be able to select "New Reference" from the References menu. This is because you are actually in the output style editing mode.
To make this selection available you would simply click on your library window to bring it to the front. This act tells EndNote that you are trying to work with your references and not with an output style.
