CWYW 37: What is the Libraries Used tab? Why can't I add my library here?

Answer: The Libraries Used tab available in the Format Bibliography dialog box in Word will only tell you the name of the library or libraries that were used for the formatted citations within the document. If your document is unformatted, this window will be empty.

When you format your bibliography in Word, only the currently opened libraries will be checked for matching references. If a specific library is used to format a citation in your document, that library will be added to this tab.

Note that this has been removed in EndNote X4, as this functionality has been added to the Edit and Manage Citation(s) dialog.
