31:
Is EndNote for Macintosh OS X compatible with word processors
other than Microsoft Word? What happened to the Paper menu / Scan
Paper feature that existed in earlier versions? |
| Answer:
The Cite While You Write feature in EndNote for OS X will only work with
Microsoft Word and other compatible Word processors, like Pages 09 with EndNote X2 and later. The Paper menu with the Scan Paper feature was removed
in EndNote 6, but this feature was restored and enhanced in EndNote
7 and later.
You can use EndNote’s Format Paper feature to scan and format RTF files created by a variety of word processors. (This same feature was called RTF Document Scan in EndNote 7, 8 and 9.)
See the Mac word processor
compatibility chart or your manual for details. |
