31:
Is EndNote for Macintosh OSX compatible with word processors
other than Microsoft Word? What happened to the Paper menu / Scan
Paper feature that existed in earlier versions? |
| Answer:
The Cite-While-You-Write feature in EndNote for OSX will only work with
Microsoft Word. The Paper menu with the Scan Paper feature was removed
in EndNote 6, but this feature was restored and enhanced in EndNote
7 and later. In EndNote X and X1 you can use the Format Paper feature- called RTF Document Scan in EndNote 7, 8 and 9 (under the
Tools menu) to scan and format RTF files created by a variety of word
processors. See the Mac word processor
compatibility chart for details. |
