Import 19: Are there any issues with the Researcher ID and EndNote Web integration?

Answer: References imported from Researcher ID have an issue where the bibliographic data is incomplete.

For example, Researcher ID does not store more than 3 author names after importing, abbreviating them with et. al. This data can be edited directly in EndNote Web, or you can import the record again from Web of Knowledge.

If the record shows a link to Web of Knowledge, click on the link in EndNote Web, then use the "Export to EndNote Web" option on the Web of Knowledge page to import the full record with all the authors and other information. Place this record in your Researcher ID folder, and then remove the older incomplete record.

If there is no link, the file may be manually edited to add the full information.
