This will be an arbitrary name assigned by the provider to a database.
Examples are mesz, voyager, or pqd. |

Provider |
The
company or organization providing the data (such as the National
Library of Medicine or ISI). |
| Internet
Address |
This
can be a numeric address such as 192.168.1.251 or domain name such
as host.researchsoft.com |
| Port |
This
is a number or range of numbers that is part of internet communications.
Usually 210 is the port for Z39.50 |

Syntax |
The
format the data is provided in. Common examples are USMARC or SUTRS. |

A
web page or URL describing how to configure an EndNote connection
file to read the database. |
