Have you ever thought about building your own library at home? As a
book lover, I have bought, read and collected books since I began to
learn how to read and write at the age of six. The stories and knowledge
that books contain always charm me and give me a great pleasure. As
l grew up, as many book lovers do, I tired to build my own library in
my little room. I imitated what librarians do to categorize and label
my books in my own way. I even keep a notebook to write down my reflections
after reading. All my effort, however, was not very efficient due to
my ever-growing collection and the limited space I have. I could not
even keep my records and notebooks in a systematic way. I might remember
something valuable and interesting from my recent reading, but after
a couple of weeks, the information got lost in the jungle of books,
and I needed to search for the information all over again.
With EndNote, all these difficulties are overcome. Now, all I need
to do is to key in the information of my books and keep my own records
in a systematic way. Like a real librarian, I can search every reference
and book title within seconds in my digitalized library. So for me,
EndNote, does not only help me to better my academic career but also
fulfills my dream- to build my own digitalized library at home!
